BID Competition Terms & Conditions

By entering a competition run by Inverness BID Limited, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.

Eligibility:

Social media/online competitions are open to individuals aged 18 and over, unless expressly stated otherwise.

By entering, participants confirm they are not connected to Inverness BID Limited or any partner organisation involved in the competition or promotion in the following capacities:

• Employees, workers, or contractors of Inverness BID who have been employed, contracted, or otherwise engaged within the last 12 months, along with their immediate family members, partners, and close personal friends.

Inverness BID reserves the right to disqualify any entries that violate these terms and to take appropriate action, including cancelling any awarded prizes.

Prizes are provided by Inverness BID Limited on behalf of the retailer or partner stated within the competition post. The prize is non-transferable, and no cash alternative will be offered.

How to Enter:

To enter, you must follow the instructions in the post by the date and time specified. Sharing a post is not usually a requirement for entry.

Competition Period:

The competition will open at the time specified and will state the closing date and time.  Inverness BID reserves the right to end or extend the specified time or date at it’s sole discretion.

Disqualification:

Inverness BID Limited reserves the right to disqualify any entries it deems, to contravene the spirit of the competition or for other reasons at its sole discretion.

Advertising and Promotion:

The winner agrees, if required, to participate in any advertising, promotion, or other commercial activities related to the prize. By entering, the winner consents to their photograph, image, likeness, and voice being used by Inverness BID Limited for promotional activity without prior approval or inspection.

Liability:

Inverness BID Limited cannot accept any liability for entries that are late, lost, or incomplete.

Prohibited Entries:

No bulk, third-party, or trade entries will be accepted.

Data Use:

Personal data will be used solely for the purpose of contacting the winner and will not be shared or used for any other purposes.

Data will be held in accordance with our organisations data protection procedures and privacy policies.
